I've been here 8yrs now, but only starting to realize how rich in Gold this country is since I've been watching your videos.... I was able to go with a neighbor friend to an abandoned Gold mine that's for sale in an area where there's still lots of active mines. I'm still learning how to separate the out of the rocks(Lol). I also saw your video you did with Jason @Mt Baker Mining & Metals! I watch his videos also a lot.

Hi. I love your video's. Your New York gold videos are near and dear for me. I was crevicing north of one of your hikes that you did in NYS . I found nice pickers crevicing about a 3 ft crevice. The discoveries of 2 areas were by someone else. It has been since 2006 since I have been there. I have a photo of the 2 vials with a dime for scale. I can provide the location on P.M.

Since you mentioned amalgam..... What about all the mercury that was lost into the water from the mills along the Carson River? Supposedly, it all moved downstream and is in the sediments along the river. Can that yield any gold? Have never heard any mention of this. Also, some of the old sluices in waterways in the middle Sierra yield blobs of mercury if a riffle is dislodged. Could mercury be retorted using the same glassware used to distill water? Jeff, I say this with respect and love, but one day you are going to find out that there is a God, whether you like it or not. I am quite befuddled about how you don't realize this, as you spend so much time playing within his immaculately designed playground. I myself was educated in a similar fashion, but found my self questioning most of what I was taught. The longer I spent in God's country, the more solidified the answers to these questions became. The gold in most part has been distributed, deposited, and drawn from the earth by Noah's flood. The sooner you realize this, the sooner you will find more gold, if you so desire. Do Ya' really think the old timers that you have come to respect believed in the nonsensical *theory* of evolution? They are rolling in their graves Jeff. I respect your education, and I appreciate that you know a tremendous amount of information pertaining to geology, finding gold, and many other things.. A jack of all trades so to speak. You and I are one in the same. The blessings are plentiful, and I can only imagine that your mother, father or perhaps grandmother spent some time talking to God about you. You know, I have half a mind to come on down to Arizona and take you on a tour of your own "backyard", giving you a personally guided tour of unfathomably amazing design, creation, how, *WHERE* , and when the gold was distributed by Noah's flood... I'll bring the SXS. I ponder if you would take me up on the offer.... or If I have offended you. It was for some reason on my heart to comment on this video... Only God knows why. EDIT: I failed to mention that this by no means discredits anything you have said, some of the flooding and immense pressures caused what is believed to be Glacial action or re-action, but there were also glaciers as well. Jeff, I have always been what they call a big sky person, always aware of their surroundings. The geology of Newfoundland is similar to Arizona rich in minerals, a part of the Appalachian Mt range. I love watching your videos, and most of all your explanations. The TCH cuts across the province, and on a recent road trip the rock cuts through the central NL mineral belt, will never look the same to me again. Thank you' for sharing your education. Cheer's H

I live in NY and have a friend who owns a sand mine. I have prospected the sand and did find gold. Very small and a lot of work but gold. I would like to be able to sift it faster, maybe a sluice would work.

Dowsing rods work without having to have Gold or even think about anything. It's best to use 1/8" or even 3/16" diameter brazing rods. Either you have the gift or you don't. My guess is the electrical current mixed with the water inside our bodies make it work. They basically find Dissimilar objects in an any area. they work great for finding buried water lines, buried electrical lines etc in the soil. They are also great for finding rebar in a concrete slabs. Just Sayin !!!!!!!!. I still prefer my analog Gold Bug 2 and now my newer Minelab 540.

I live in Storrs Connecticut Jeff. That part of the tectonic plate that slammed in to the Proto African tectonic plate and then tore away from it. The collision caused a rippling of the crust(Appalachian mountains) the tearing away caused the Connecticut Valley rift. I live along that separation and have rocks from Africa in my back yard,as well as beautiful exposed bedrock and gorgeous schist. I have two huge plung pools and can't find a speck. I had the rocks and soil tested, and get a .007 ppm .... basically nothing. Please come over eat,drink and pan with me!
